Finally, the CFPA have a Community Council bordering the firth that support STS. We understand that Invergordon CC met last night and voted unanimously in favour of STS. It is not surprising given that they are on the doorstep of the Port and local causes get some benefit from the CFPA. It should not detract from the FACT that 23 Community Council’s OPPOSE the plans. Interestingly, talking to people in Invergordon, STS tends to be an issue they have not thought about in depth – when the risks are explained they see them and are generally shocked at what the CFPA are trying to do. It is everyones firth, and once its ruined, it will be ruined for a long long time.
