We refer to the last BBC report on the Port being required to resubmit their application – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-38748512
Mr Buskie was quoted as saying ”
“This detailed package of work is now complete and we will submit our refined application on schedule. We are confident the refined application answers the questions raised and will reassure our stakeholders that we can continue to undertake these operations safely. Further details of public consultation dates and events will be published soon.”
Well, here we are, March 1st – this application was meant to be submitted by mid-January – hardly on schedule then. The silence has been nearly deafening but we’ve no doubt another application is coming. Without wishing to prejudice the content, we predict that that the probability of the stakeholders being reassured is about as high as the Port issuing an entirely factually correct statement.
