Unconfirmed reports are coming in that the Cromarty Firth Port Authority have decided to drop STS completely, instead concentrating on the stunning natural environment, doing their best to protect it and using it to positively promote the image of the Port. They have said all along that they taking their environmental responsibilities very seriously and Cromarty Rising look forward to working with the new look Port Authority. It is understood that they also plan to reconstitute their board to include representatives from the local community, business and the environment.
This is of course out April Fool. The reality of the situation is that the CFPA are completely entrenched and despite overwhelming public opposition from the 100,000+ of you that have signed the petition, they insist on ploughing on. How can this organisation that is there to manage a valuable public asset have such blatant disregard for their stakeholders? We would really like to know!
