Yes, hot from this evening’s annual meeting of the Port of Cromarty Firth – the Port stated that they are a Trust working for the good of all stakeholders and emphasised their commitment to sustainability before proceeding to state that they are continuing with their application to undertake STS at sea of the Cromarty Sutors – the new application will be submitted “in the spring”.
They completely missed the opportunity to reset the relationship with their stakeholders by choosing to continue another year of confrontation. Very disappointing – rest assured Cromarty Rising will redouble our efforts to get this flagrant disregard for the environment and the communities of the inner Moray Firth stopped completely!
