In order to fight the application for ship to ship oil transfer in the Moray Firth we may, eventually, need to go to Judicial Review. Even if that is not necessary, it is necessary to seek legal advice. All of this requires funds. We aim to look into all aspects of this licence, to hold all consultees and the Port of Cromarty Firth to account. If there is a way to stop this, we aim to find it.
This fight is backed by a number of dedicated volunteers who have already committed private funds to get the ball rolling. In order to keep that ball rolling and to give the communities of the Cromarty Firth and the Moray Firth the best chance of stopping this application please support our fund-raising efforts.
Our crowdfunding page will come to an end soon with over £13,000 raised. All funds will be used for the cause. We have, after requests from the public, set up other ways of donating.
